This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire recruiting process from workforce planning and intake to sourcing, assessment, offer, and closure across all functions and locations.
• Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and executive leadership to convert hiring plans and headcount projections into effective recruiting strategies.
• Develop and enhance a scalable talent acquisition function, which includes processes, playbooks, and infrastructure improvements.
• Set and monitor recruiting KPIs such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, pipeline health, offer acceptance, and source effectiveness.
• Directly lead searches for essential, senior, and executive positions.
• Formulate proactive sourcing strategies, engage in passive candidate outreach, and conduct market mapping.
• Manage streamlined interview and selection processes while ensuring quality and fit.
• Guarantee timely and thoughtful communication with candidates throughout the entire process.
• Provide guidance to hiring managers and executives regarding market realities, role design, leveling, and compensation.
• Coach managers on structured interviews and timely hiring decisions.
• Anticipate workforce requirements and collaborate with the People function on onboarding transitions.
• Advocate for Sapio’s employer brand within the life sciences and scientific software sectors.
• Create a personable, respectful, and high-touch candidate experience.
• Manage, administer, and optimize Lever as the primary recruiting system.
• Enhance recruiting workflows, automation, playbooks, pipelines, stages, templates, and integrations.
• Leverage data and market insights to improve time-to-fill, costs, and quality of hire.
• Ensure adherence to employment regulations and equitable hiring practices across all operational regions.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 8 years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, including recruiting for senior and executive-level positions, preferably in a high-growth environment.
• Previous experience in building or scaling a talent acquisition function, ideally within the SaaS or life sciences sectors.
• Practical experience in administering and optimizing an ATS; experience with Lever is strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting across various geographies, including the US and international markets.
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders and supporting board- or private equity-related hiring priorities is preferred.
• Ability to devise recruiting strategies and personally execute critical searches.
• Strong skills in relationship building and influencing.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for handling a high-volume, high-complexity requisition load.
• Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Lever or similar ATS platforms and recruiting analytics.
• Orientation towards process improvement.
• Sound judgment regarding talent, leveling, and compensation.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach with a commitment to the experiences of candidates and hiring managers.
