This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Establish the future-state vision for Enterprise Services “OneRTX” in relation to Connected Factory planning, execution, visualization, and near-real-time data orchestration.
• Spearhead the development and maintenance of compliant IT digital architecture that emphasizes Connected Factory capabilities.
• Create, lead, and support the sustainment organization for Connected Factory initiatives.
• Promote process standardization, technical harmonization, and quantifiable enterprise value.
• Aid in the harmonization of capabilities, centralization of sustainment, and consolidation of technology across manufacturing and factory systems.
• Direct the development of digital strategies while overseeing operational sustainability and tactical processes.
• Oversee personnel across internal teams, shared services, and external partners.
• Align technical roadmaps with enterprise goals in collaboration with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs), operations leaders, and supply chain/manufacturing stakeholders.
• Enhance the utilization of Ignition applications, tier boards, action trackers, event brokers, and connected manufacturing capabilities.
• Mentor communities of practice and instruct stakeholders on Connected Factory technologies and application architecture.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to RTX IT policies and industry standards while maximizing scalability.
• Collaborate with legal, digital technology, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, supply chain management, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• A relevant Master’s Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 14 years of professional experience across various digital supply chain services and technology disciplines.
• At least 12 years of experience leading project teams in digital or process transformation initiatives.
• Over 5 years of experience in leading technology sustainment or Center of Excellence teams that support business technology implementations.
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting Connected Factory technologies such as MES, SCADA, Ignition, event brokers, shop floor management, or digital performance management systems.
• Experience in leading multi-year initiatives across diverse operating units and global regions.
• Background in managing projects with third-party resources as the primary execution support.
• Familiarity with complex corporations and/or Aerospace & Defense or related industries.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Preferred knowledge of advanced digital manufacturing technologies, including predictive analytics, digital twins, or RPA.
• Experience with Ignition, Kafka, or other event broker technologies, as well as MES/MOM systems, SAP ECC, or S/4 HANA manufacturing integrations is preferred.
• PMP or a similar certification is a plus.
