This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop and oversee the supplier performance and quality function for US data center construction initiatives.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive supplier scorecard, quality assurance, and non-conformance/corrective action framework.
• Supervise supplier and contractor performance across general contractors, EPC firms, OEMs, and critical-path equipment suppliers.
• Conduct quarterly and project milestone quality and performance assessments.
• Direct root-cause analysis, corrective actions, escalations, performance improvement plans, and decisions regarding supplier exit/replacement.
• Create supplier segmentation and risk models that assess capacity, financial stability, and exposure to single-source suppliers.
• Manage supplier and construction quality assurance, including inspection protocols, FAT, SAT, and commissioning quality gates.
• Establish and uphold Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) systems.
• Define quality standards and acceptance criteria for essential equipment.
• Evaluate contractor and OEM quality management systems and ensure the resolution of identified issues.
• Act as the main escalation contact between Procurement and Construction/Engineering teams.
• Incorporate supplier performance data into project cost and scheduling reports.
• Advocate for supplier performance and quality during contract negotiations and in claims or dispute resolutions.
• Build and manage a team focused on supplier quality and performance management.
• Present supplier performance and quality metrics to executive leadership and Global Procurement.
• Minimum of 12 years in supplier quality, supplier performance management, construction quality assurance, or similar supply chain leadership roles.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Hands-on experience with hyperscale, colocation, or large-scale mission-critical data center construction projects.
• Strong understanding of GC/EPC delivery models and various contract structures such as GMP, lump sum, CMAR, Design-Build, and Progressive Design-Build.
• Familiarity with HV transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, liquid cooling, and modular/skid-based systems.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing supplier scorecards, NCR/CAPA systems, and quality audit programs.
• Exceptional executive presence and negotiation skills, including experience engaging with C-suite executives from major GC/EPC and OEM partners.
• Willingness to travel to active construction sites across the US (30–50%).
• Experience with a hyperscaler, colocation provider, or AI infrastructure company is preferred.
• Background in both buy-side and OEM-side supply chains is preferred.
• Knowledge of NVIDIA DSX reference architecture compliance and experience with liquid cooling vendors is preferred.
• Six Sigma, Lean, or CQE/ASQ quality certification is preferred.
• Experience in establishing a supplier quality function from inception is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or advanced technical degree is preferred.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
