This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Spearhead strategic initiatives from conception to implementation and realization of results.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Fundraising Operations team.
• Design and execute multi-year fundraising strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with the VP of Philanthropy to set annual fundraising targets, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for revenue diversification through major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundations, grants, planned giving, and annual campaigns.
• Oversee fundraising operations, including systems, processes, reporting, donor data management, gift processing, and compliance.
• Lead the strategy for CRM, optimization, data governance, and integration of fundraising tools.
• Establish OKRs and dashboards to assess the effectiveness of fundraising efforts.
• Analyze fundraising data, donor trends, and the performance of campaigns.
• Create forecasting models and revenue projections.
• Provide reports and insights to executive leadership and board committees.
• Direct campaign planning and execution across annual, capital, planned, principal, major, mid-level, and special initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, timelines, budgets, resources, and communication with stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, recruit, develop, and retain fundraising operations and support staff.
• Prepare strategic reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and board committees.
• Ensure adherence to fundraising regulations, nonprofit reporting standards, data privacy, gift acceptance policies, and donor confidentiality practices.
• Advocate for safeguarding and maintain a workplace free from harassment and protection issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Philanthropy, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising and development.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience in managing fundraising operations, strategy, or development teams.
• Proven success in leading fundraising initiatives that generate substantial annual revenue growth.
• Strong knowledge of donor databases/CRM platforms, fundraising analytics, and performance reporting.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership, boards of directors, and major donors.
• Excellent skills in strategic planning, project management, and organization.
• Proven ability to lead teams through change management and adapt to new systems.
• Intermediate (or higher) proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Intermediate (or higher) proficiency in CRM Microsoft Dynamics.
• Intermediate (or higher) experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as required.
• Willingness to travel for departmental and organizational meetings as necessary.
