This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Grounds (Landscape & Snow Removal) S&P team for a major client.
• Manage expectations and deliverables for the team in collaboration with S&P account leadership, Account leadership, and the client.
• Own and implement the long-term sourcing strategy for the Grounds IFM category.
• Enhance performance, optimize costs, mitigate risks, ensure governance, and drive innovation within the Grounds portfolio.
• Provide strategic direction and subject-matter expertise in Landscape and Snow Removal sourcing, supplier relationships, and program management.
• Analyze market trends, supplier landscapes, and industry developments, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Counsel stakeholders on scope development, risk management, contract structure, and supplier strategies.
• Lead large-scale RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes from inception to contract award and transition.
• Formulate sourcing strategies, scopes, commercial models, evaluation frameworks, and award recommendations.
• Manage supplier communications, negotiations, clarifications, final selection, documentation, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with operations teams to standardize RFP/bid and contracting processes.
• Identify risks and opportunities while recommending effective mitigation strategies.
• Oversee compliance, controls, technology tools, and adherence to the S&P Playbook in sourcing.
• Independently negotiate master service agreements and performance-based contracts.
• Coordinate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management on contractual terms and approvals.
• Guide supplier relationship management and performance programs, including scorecards, QBRs, and quarterly reports.
• Mentor and train suppliers while proactively addressing performance issues.
• Recruit, develop, coach, retain, and lead sourcing professionals.
• Establish priorities, assign deliverables, resolve operational challenges, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Present sourcing strategies, award recommendations, and performance outcomes to senior leadership and clients.
• Lead client meetings and strategy sessions, representing procurement in governance and executive forums.
• Provide market, supplier, and operational intelligence while proactively escalating issues with recommended solutions.
• Over 6 years of strategic sourcing experience in services or indirect categories related to facilities services, with proven expertise in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) procurement.
• Consistent availability during standard business hours (e.g., 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST).
• Reliable access to a desk, computer, phone, email, and video conferencing systems (Zoom / Microsoft Teams).
• Demonstrated experience in people management.
• Proven ability to independently lead end-to-end RFx processes in complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities in intricate settings.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strategic mindset comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Demonstrated bias for action.
• Proven success in managing high-visibility service categories, preferably IFM or facilities-related services.
• Experience in contract negotiation and commercial strategy.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in PC skills and MS Office applications — Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power Query, capable of cleaning, merging, and analyzing large datasets.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. (approximately 30%).
• MBA or advanced credentials preferred.
