This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead strategic new-business development across key channels and markets as a senior contributor without direct reports.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from market strategy and prospecting to solution design, negotiation, contract execution, and transition to implementation.
• Take ownership of an individual revenue target and achieve profitable new-client growth within assigned strategic channels.
• Formulate and implement account, market, and channel strategies.
• Develop and sustain an enterprise pipeline through executive networking, referrals, market intelligence, targeted outreach, events, and prospecting efforts.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives and other influential decision-makers.
• Utilize Miller Heiman Strategic Selling principles, including Blue Sheet opportunity planning, buying-influence mapping, red-flag identification, competitive analysis, and documentation of next steps.
• Lead discovery sessions and convert strategic priorities, business challenges, decision criteria, value drivers, and KPIs into Cinch solutions and business cases.
• Design differentiated, multi-stakeholder solutions utilizing Cinch’s services and channel-specific offerings.
• Coordinate complex sales efforts across Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, Implementation, and Account Management teams.
• Create and present executive presentations, proposals, financial narratives, and mutual action plans.
• Direct commercial negotiations and contract development within corporate guidelines.
• Maintain disciplined opportunity management in Salesforce and provide fact-based forecasts and executive updates.
• Collaborate with implementation and account teams during the transition from signed agreement to launch and early relationship success.
• Monitor market, customer, regulatory, and competitive trends and transform insights into growth opportunities.
• Represent Cinch at client meetings, industry forums, conferences, and other market-facing engagements.
• 10+ years of progressive success in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or business development, with a proven record of sourcing, advancing, negotiating, and closing complex, high-value agreements in the Insurance and Financial sectors.
• Proficient in Miller Heiman Strategic Selling; capable of leading thorough opportunity planning and coaching internal pursuit teams through the methodology without formal reporting authority.
• Experienced in selling transformative services, subscription-based offerings, platforms, or consultative solutions to C-suite and senior business leaders.
• Strong strategic-selling abilities, including account planning, stakeholder mapping, business-case development, competitive positioning, consensus building, and multi-threaded deal management.
• Executive presence and credibility to engage senior decision-makers, constructively challenge customer perspectives, and navigate complex organizations.
• Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance growth, profitability, customer outcomes, risk, and contractual obligations.
• Proven capability to work independently as a self-directed contributor while mobilizing cross-functional resources through influence.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce and a disciplined approach to pipeline management, forecasting, and sales analytics.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for prospect, partner, client, and industry engagements.
• Preferred: experience in Cinch priority channels, including property and casualty insurance—particularly personal lines/homeowners—financial institutions, affinity marketing, financial services, or adjacent home-services ecosystems.
• Preferred: a broad and relevant industry network with relationships across carriers, distributors, brokerages, financial institution enterprises, strategic partners, or other target accounts.
• Preferred: in-depth understanding of industry business models, decision criteria, KPIs, market challenges, and drivers of change.
• Preferred: experience in creating or refining innovative business models, value propositions, products, or market entry strategies.
• Preferred: formal training or certification in Miller Heiman.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
