This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +8 more locations.
• Oversee the global sales strategy for Red Hat Lightwell and communicate its business advantages.
• Develop the global strategy for Red Hat Lightwell and spearhead the formation of Lightwell specialist teams across GEOs.
• Take responsibility for Global Lightwell objectives and anticipated growth.
• Act as the technical thought leader and reliable advisor for Red Hat account teams in Global Sales.
• Work together with P&GE, marketing, enablement, customer success and services, and CEE to implement the Lightwell go-to-market strategy.
• Collaborate with leaders in Global RHEL, OpenShift, Ansible, and AI Platform on joint go-to-market initiatives and solutions.
• Review associate performance and performance management processes with GEO Tech Sales Leaders on a quarterly basis.
• Compile regional feedback for Product and Engineering assessments.
• Lead monthly meetings of the Business Leadership Team.
• Implement global sales strategies in coordination with Global and Segment sales teams.
• Collaborate with the Global Ecosystem Tech Sales Leader on Lightwell implementation.
• Partner with IBM from strategic go-to-market planning through daily operations.
• Represent Red Hat through public thought leadership and advocacy efforts.
• Over 10 years of experience in a sales leadership position within a technology sales context.
• Strong technical and business acumen with a proven history of leading cross-functional teams and executing complex projects.
• Experience in managing both sales and technical pre-sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in managing direct and indirect teams along with robust cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Background in secure application development, including the software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps, open source software development tools and practices, container and Linux operating system platforms, and enterprise automation technologies.
• Familiarity with software provenance, deterministic builds, dependency lifecycle management, or component inventory on an enterprise scale.
• Deep understanding of open source software supply chain market opportunities, competitive landscape, and associated solutions, technologies, trends, and concepts.
• Proven experience managing a globally distributed team of senior individual contributors without an intermediate management layer.
• Experience in creating and/or contributing to pre-sales materials and processes.
• Ability to engage and present to customers at various levels, from developers and architects to infrastructure, operations teams, strategic executives, and C-level management.
• Experience participating in a digital transformation initiative as part of sales, consulting, or customer experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent from a foreign institution) in computer information systems, computer science, or a security-related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, adhering to Red Hat’s established travel and expense policies.
