This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of senior Solution Architects across the EMEA, Middle East, and Africa regions.
• Act as an executive technical sponsor for high-value deals through customer engagements, strategic discussions, and detailed architectural reviews.
• Oversee team operational rhythms, including organized 1:1s, professional development plans, and performance indicators.
• Propel strategic Go-To-Market initiatives and business operationalization to broaden the global presence and achieve measurable revenue growth within 6–12 months.
• Formulate partner strategies with regional ecosystems to synchronize technical architectures and amplify business impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with international leaders to align pre-sales technical strategies with overall business objectives.
• Direct the International Solution Architecture team and take ownership of strategic GTM initiatives and complex technical challenges.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical enterprise roles, such as Solution Architecture, Sales Engineering, or Professional Services.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing, leading, or scaling pre-sales technical teams.
• Demonstrated success in enterprise solution selling and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder technical sales processes.
• Proven experience in achieving multi-million-dollar ARR targets.
• Familiarity with institutionalizing MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar value-driven sales methodologies within a team.
• Extensive expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and Databricks.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
• Practical knowledge of APIs, Linux environments, SQL, and data pipeline technologies.
• Active experience in leading or implementing enterprise Generative and Agentic AI initiatives, including tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and n8n.
• Preferred: Experience with Matillion Data Productivity Cloud, Matillion ETL, or other data integration platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Spark/PySpark, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, and MPP database architectures including Teradata, Vertica, and Netezza.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related STEM field is preferred or equivalent practical experience.
