This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee multiple software engineering teams that provide platform and product capabilities for DNA Platforms.
• Develop an engineering strategy that aligns with business goals, product roadmaps, and enterprise architecture direction.
• Propel modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and platform engineering initiatives across various portfolios.
• Set engineering standards, establish architecture governance, and implement development practices to enhance quality, reliability, and delivery predictability.
• Recruit, mentor, and nurture engineering managers and senior engineers through performance coaching, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and product teams to influence technical decisions for scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant systems.
• Promote Agile methodologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and DevSecOps practices across teams to enhance delivery execution and operational readiness.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering delivering enterprise-scale platforms, distributed systems, or cloud-based applications.
• 8+ years of experience in managing and developing teams.
• 8+ years of experience leading software engineering delivery across multiple teams, portfolios, or workstreams.
• 8+ years of experience with software architecture, cloud platforms, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and production operations.
• 8+ years of experience collaborating with product, architecture, operations, security, and business stakeholders to achieve technology outcomes.
• 8+ years of experience communicating engineering strategies, delivery statuses, risks, and technical decisions to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military experience.
• Experience in financial technology, payments, banking, or digital platforms.
• Experience with platform engineering, developer experience, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Experience evaluating or implementing artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted software engineering capabilities.
• Experience managing geographically distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to utilize a computer and audio equipment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 10%.
• Annual incentive opportunity, potentially offered as a combination of cash bonuses and equity awards.
• Occasional travel (up to 10%).
