This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive business goals by integrating sales and customer-facing functions to achieve sustainable revenue growth, exceptional customer value, and long-term market success.
• Oversee the Piano Division's unified sales, institutional, service, and product-training initiatives.
• Formulate and implement strategies that foster sustainable revenue growth, enhance dealer and institutional partnerships, elevate service and customer experience, broaden market opportunities, and meet annual business goals.
• Convert divisional and corporate priorities into synchronized plans for the Higher Education solutions sales team, piano sales team, piano services, and product training.
• Cultivate the leaders accountable for each function.
• Propel the strategic direction for sales in alignment with the division and YCA strategy.
• Ensure the attainment of objectives, goals, and KPIs for sales operations.
• Address critical internal and external issues affecting sales.
• Guarantee a positive sales experience for customers and partners.
• Optimize distribution strategy and enhance departmental service quality.
• Promote consistent market coverage and fair sales team management.
• Foster an organizational environment that attracts, engages, and nurtures team members.
• Lead a sales and services team in crafting and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies across internal stakeholders, channel partners, and institutions.
• Ensure strategies are backed by suitable tools, programs, inventory planning, training, and market activation.
• Supervise the design and execution of distribution strategies, territory planning, partner engagement, and market coverage assessment.
• Establish and assign revenue, financial, operational, and performance goals for functions reporting to sales.
• Lead the assessment, development, and execution of product-training needs for both internal and external audiences.
• Analyze, report, and provide business recommendations based on sales metrics, trends, and data.
• Oversee the execution of financial responsibilities, including department P&L, incentive plan payouts, and channel partner programs.
• Identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets, underserved territories, new partner prospects, and product placement deficits.
• Proficient in office productivity software.
• Experienced with CRM systems.
• Proven success working with cross-functional stakeholders in a complex business environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%; may include some nights and weekends.
• A minimum of 7 years of sales or commercial management experience.
• Experience leading across various channels, customer segments, or business functions.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficient in Salesforce.
• Experience with analytical software such as Tableau or equivalent.
• Background in the music/sound industry.
• Strong people leadership and management skills.
