This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel the growth and utilization of Ameriprise Bank's banking and cash solutions within a designated territory.
• Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan for the territory.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with both new and existing advisors through personalized meetings, educational workshops, client events, and presentations.
• Assess advisor requirements, propose banking and cash management solutions, and promote product usage utilizing a consultative sales method.
• Partner with product teams, marketing, field leadership, and various business collaborators.
• Share insights on market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activities.
• Travel throughout the territory to conduct advisor meetings, lead training sessions, support client events, and represent the organization at national, regional, and industry gatherings.
• Leverage proprietary tools, CRM software, and sales analytics to pinpoint opportunities, assess advisor practices, and improve sales effectiveness.
• Oversee schedules, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, budget management, and advisor recognition programs.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, registrations, and regulatory requirements through necessary training and continuous education.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services sector in a sales-oriented position, with extensive understanding of advisor business models, investment products, and financial solutions.
• Proven expertise in selling deposit and lending products, such as checking and savings accounts, home lending options, securities-based lending, and credit card offerings.
• Active Series 7 license or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• Active state securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or the ability to acquire it within 90 days.
• Active state IAR registration (S65 or S66) or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% and reside within the designated region.
• Strong business insight with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management systems, such as Salesforce.
• Capability to swiftly learn and effectively market proprietary products and solutions.
• Experience in applying consultative sales techniques to influence advisor choices and foster business growth.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address large audiences and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment while managing competing priorities and achieving results.
