This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and assist a team of Relationship Managers by facilitating onboarding, coaching, and providing performance feedback.
• Establish team objectives and service standards that align with departmental goals.
• Track responsiveness and guarantee prompt resolutions for client interactions and service inquiries.
• Develop processes and procedures for efficient task completion and continuous evaluation of team performance.
• Identify and allocate client assignments, including key strategic accounts, aligning skills with client requirements.
• Facilitate client meetings, conduct plan reviews, and engage in fiduciary discussions centered on plan health and participant involvement.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Plan Consulting, and Sales teams to ensure smooth client service delivery.
• Serve as a client advocate by addressing service challenges and escalating issues as necessary.
• Assist in providing data-driven insights and recommendations that improve client outcomes.
• Contribute to the enhancement of team workflows, tools, and escalation procedures.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and ongoing improvement within the team.
• 5–7+ years of experience in relationship or client management within the retirement plan or financial services sector.
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of qualified retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), 457, DB, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to guide client discussions.
• Experience in mentoring team members and aiding in professional growth.
• Familiarity with retirement plan compliance, ERISA, and fiduciary standards.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adjust to evolving client demands.
• Dedication to service excellence and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• Industry certifications such as QKA, QPA, or AIF are advantageous.
