This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Lead essential strategic initiatives that support Thermo Fisher Scientific's mission to empower customers in creating a healthier, cleaner, and safer world.
• Manage intricate, cross-departmental projects that involve multiple divisions.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to achieve significant outcomes.
• Establish frameworks for project governance.

• Oversee portfolios of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business growth, operational effectiveness, and digital transformation.
• Ensure alignment with corporate goals.

• An advanced degree with 6 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 8 years of progressive project/program management experience within complex organizations.
• Preferred areas of study include Business, Clinical Research, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred (minimum of Green Belt, with Black Belt being ideal).
• Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and change management programs.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and leadership communication.
• Experience in developing and supporting successful teams.
• Experience in regulated environments, ideally within life sciences or healthcare.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix organization.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Demonstrated capability to influence through collaboration.
• Proficient in project management software and the MS Office suite.
• Willingness to travel as required by the role (typically 20-40%).
• Strong skills in risk management and decision-making.
