This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of Circle’s media narrative and public presence across its platforms and products, which include Arc Platform, Circle Agent Stack, Circle Payments Network, and Circle Digital Assets and Services.
• Collaborate with the product team early in the roadmap planning and development phases.
• Establish a long-term public narrative for Arc and position Circle as a leading technology company.
• Manage Circle’s press narrative within the agentic economy and create stories centered around AI agents transacting with USDC and Circle's infrastructure.
• Develop media and stage strategies for product launches and significant platform milestones.
• Lead earned media initiatives, executive positioning, and communications with partners and developers.
• Craft stage and speaking strategies for product and technology leaders while overseeing executive preparation.
• Cultivate relationships with Tier 1 technology media and build press connections in the AI and agentic economy sectors.
• Oversee executive thought leadership pipelines, including briefing materials, op-eds, bylines, and narrative frameworks.
• Work alongside the community team to enhance developer and builder communications for Arc’s ecosystem.
• Partner with Public Affairs and Reputation Management to handle crisis and issues management.
• Design AI-driven communication workflows for media monitoring and briefing preparation.
• Exhibit strategic independence, product knowledge, and narrative ownership.
• Over 10 years of experience in product or technology communications, with significant in-house experience at a technology organization.
• Proven success in building product brands over time and developing narrative strategies prior to announcements.
• Strong relationships with Tier 1 technology and business media that cover infrastructure, developer platforms, fintech, or the future of payments.
• Experience with developer-oriented products or platforms and engaging with builder and technical communities.
• Understanding of the AI agent landscape and associated media and stages.
• High technical fluency, including the ability to interpret product documentation and engineering briefs accurately.
• Background in developing executive thought leadership programs, encompassing speaker strategy, stage management, and long-form narrative development.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Strong news judgment and experience managing a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder product communications calendar.
• High level of autonomy in identifying tasks, formulating strategies, and executing independently.
• Familiarity with generative AI models such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini.
• Must reside in San Francisco or Palo Alto.
