Director, Product Marketing – GTM Strategy

📋 Description

• Develop repeatable frameworks that effectively launch new products into the market.

• Formulate commercialization strategies that integrate Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Customer Success, and Partnerships.

• Collaborate with Product leadership to initiate commercialization early in the product lifecycle, rather than at the time of launch.

• Create scalable processes for launch readiness that accommodate both significant product launches and ongoing innovation.

• Assist in defining pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies in collaboration with Product, Finance, and Leadership.

• Oversee Fleetio's corporate messaging framework and the narrative surrounding customer value.

• Design positioning that redirects discussions from product features to business outcomes.

• Build messaging frameworks for the company, platform, products, industries, and strategic initiatives.

• Develop the First Call Deck and other essential sales messaging utilized across the organization.

• Create solution narratives for critical growth sectors, including Maintenance, AI, Fleet Intelligence, Telematics, and Partnerships.

• Ensure consistent messaging across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Executive communications.

• Develop repeatable sales strategies that assist Sales in generating pipeline and closing deals.

• Collaborate closely with Sales Enablement to craft playbooks, talk tracks, discovery guides, objection handling strategies, and value-selling content.

• Integrate messaging within MEDDPICC and other sales methodologies.

• Create vertical messaging and industry-specific sales materials.

• Establish and maintain a centralized repository for GTM messaging, presentations, and commercialization resources.

• Work with field teams to continuously enhance materials based on customer insights.

• Act as a vital connector between Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership.

• Facilitate repeatable GTM planning processes across various organizations.

• Aid teams in aligning around priorities, milestones, launch strategies, and business outcomes.

• Collaborate with Demand Generation to ensure campaigns support Fleetio's value narrative.

• Assist in partner commercialization through joint messaging, enablement, and go-to-market initiatives.

• Establish the commercialization function at Fleetio.

• Define operational processes, templates, and best practices.

• Identify opportunities for scaling through AI, automation, and repeatable systems.

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercialization team as Fleetio expands.

• Foster an environment centered on experimentation, learning, ownership, and measurable business impact.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Product Marketing, Go-to-Market Strategy, Commercialization, or Revenue Marketing within the B2B SaaS sector.

• Proven experience in building commercialization, product marketing, or GTM programs from inception.

• Strong proficiency in positioning, messaging, value frameworks, and sales enablement.

• Experience working closely with executive leadership, Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing teams.

• Demonstrated success in translating product innovations into commercial achievements.

• Experience in creating repeatable GTM operating models and launch protocols.

• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling abilities.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Highspot (or similar tools), Notion, AI productivity tools, and contemporary GTM technologies.

• A builder's mindset—enjoying the creation of structure where it may be lacking and scaling teams over time.
