This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide and cultivate a high-achieving team of product managers across three platforms.
• Take ownership of the product strategy and vision for the entire enrollment funnel, from marketing handoff to policy binding.
• Utilize AI tools and agentic workflows throughout discovery, synthesis, roadmap communication, stakeholder preparation, and team coaching.
• Establish AI-native product management practices for an insurance platform.
• Maintain cross-module accountability throughout the funnel.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery.
• Implement rigorous product discovery processes and maintain backlog hygiene.
• Direct partner-facing product strategy for agents, agencies, and integrated distribution partners.
• Create and convey roadmaps that balance quick wins with long-term strategies.
• Define success metrics and establish data-driven feedback loops.
• Develop business cases and persuade executives, carriers, and cross-functional partners.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations to launch products.
• Mentor and coach product managers and assist in talent recruitment.
• 10+ years of experience in product management.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading and developing product managers.
• Proven experience in building customer acquisition, third-party distribution integrations, or application products within a carrier, insurtech, or fintech.
• Strong grasp of insurance distribution through both agent/broker and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Experience in owning and scaling a significant functional area or business domain from strategy to execution.
• Proficiency in product discovery, market research, and converting customer insights into actionable strategies.
• Daily experience with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, or similar for synthesis, research, and structured thought processes.
• Insight on how AI transforms the role and structure of product management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in establishing meaningful metrics.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, enterprise clients, C-suite executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in creating product methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• A history of strategic planning that balances ambitious visions with practical execution.
• Experience in the insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries is a significant advantage.
• Must reside within the contiguous 48 United States.
