This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Take ownership of the AI strategy for Finance and Customer Management.
• Establish a long-term vision to transition General Business from being a system of record to a system of action.
• Determine where AI should be utilized for automation, assistance, or where human involvement is essential.
• Create transparency, controls, and audit trails for finance teams.
• Incorporate AI into the fundamental product experience.
• Make strategic decisions regarding building, buying, or partnering across various models, agents, and the ecosystem.
• Ensure the roadmap is accountable for measurable AI value, such as time savings, quicker closings, reduced DSO, accuracy, and user adoption.
• Own the General Business strategy and align it with corporate strategy and industry edition roadmaps.
• Differentiate from accounting-centric, horizontal, and AI-native ERP competitors.
• Design a growth trajectory from General Business into Manufacturing, Construction, and Distribution editions.
• Engage with CFOs, controllers, and sales leaders.
• Represent Acumatica as a thought leader in AI for finance.
• Lead and develop Product Managers across Core Financials and CRM.
• Integrate AI into discovery, research synthesis, requirements gathering, prototyping, and competitive analysis.
• Enhance the team's AI product craftsmanship, including agent design, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and learning from usage data.
• Streamline the transition from ideas to customer value through AI-assisted agile practices and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX, go-to-market, and vertical edition leaders.
• Drive new client acquisition, expansion, and retention within General Business.
• Work alongside Marketing, Sales, and the partner channel to leverage AI for differentiation and competitive advantages.
• Shape the decision-making process regarding build, buy, or partner strategies, including the marketplace of integrated solutions.
• Over 10 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
• Background in ERP, financial management, accounting, or CRM platforms for small to medium-sized businesses.
• Proven history of delivering AI or ML capabilities to production in SaaS, with measurable user adoption.
• Experience in expanding a horizontal product that accommodates vertical or industry-specific extensions.
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, agentic workflows, retrieval, and tool utilization.
• Solid understanding of the reliable capabilities of AI technologies.
• Experience in defining evaluation and quality methodologies for AI in high-trust domains, focusing on accuracy, explainability, and human oversight.
• Daily engagement with AI for product tasks, with the ability to model and instruct others in its use.
• A well-defined perspective on how AI will transform finance and customer management.
• Strong leadership in product strategy and roadmap development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial operations, including multi-entity management, revenue recognition, closing processes, and compliance.
• Familiarity with front-office workflows, such as sales, quote-to-cash, and service processes.
• Experience with platform-based products and ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and scale teams through transitions while aligning with executives and cross-functional partners.
• CPA, finance, or accounting operations experience is a plus.
• Experience in channel or partner-led go-to-market strategies is a plus.
• Background in private equity-backed or high-growth environments is advantageous.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or product integrations is a plus.
