Director, Product Management

📋 Description

• Create and enhance technology products tailored for biopharmaceutical and medical device clients.

• Collaborate with business leaders, engineers, designers, and data scientists to conceptualize, validate, build, and launch products and features.

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle from discovery through development to delivery.

• Convert business requirements into product roadmaps and actionable specifications.

• Perform business process mapping and user experience design.

• Manage agile sprints, prioritize backlogs, and ensure timely product delivery.

• Analyze healthcare data, including claims data, to generate insights for life sciences organizations.

• Interact with clients to grasp business needs and translate them into product requirements and plans.

• Track product performance, user engagement, and adoption metrics.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders and influence product-related decisions.

• Assess emerging technologies, such as GenAI, for potential product applications.

• Promote collaboration and alignment among teams distributed across various locations.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to define scope and predict development and release timelines.

• Lead risk management efforts and address project or development challenges.

• Ensure adherence to business and technical QA processes.

• Direct agile engineering teams and synchronize development work with strategic objectives.

• Create client-facing capability presentations and maintain product demonstration workflows.

• Assist with priority client proposals and pitches.

• Develop and educate teams on implementation playbooks.

• Facilitate handoffs from Product to Client Technology teams for deployments and configurations.

• Support critical client implementations and communicate the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 12 to 18 years of experience in product management, consulting, or related business/technical roles, with a strong emphasis on healthcare data analytics and product delivery.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in analyzing real-world data within the healthcare sector, including claims data, for life sciences organizations.

• Extensive knowledge of client business needs and rules necessary for analysis.

• Experience in business process mapping, user experience design, and agile software development.

• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple workstreams and changing priorities.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication across diverse stakeholder types and levels.

• Capacity to lead through influence.

• Demonstrated analytical mindset with the ability to convert complex requirements into actionable plans.

• Commitment to continuous learning, especially in GenAI.

• Experience working with teams across different geographies.

• Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to define tasks and forecast development and release timelines.

• Aptitude for anticipating and formulating mitigation strategies for project risks.

• Capability to identify actionable solutions for project and development challenges.

• Proficiency in ensuring comprehensive QA processes from both business and technical perspectives.

• Ability to understand, refine, and rigorously evaluate stakeholder requirements.

• Competence in creating detailed product specifications alongside stakeholders and UI/UX teams.

• Ability to serve as Product Lead for an agile engineering team.

• Skill in translating business needs into product specifications.

• Ability to develop and train teams on implementation playbooks.

• Skill in supporting client implementations and deployments.
