Director, Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead through practical application.

• Offer extensive knowledge in product design, design systems, product strategy, and human-centered design.

• Continuously elevate standards by providing clear, specific, and actionable feedback to project teams.

• Serve as a reliable design consultant for clients; guide them through the process, showcase the work, manage feedback, and foster relationships.

• Enhance project success by implementing service design and change management principles.

• Collaborate with Parallel's leadership to maintain team engagement and a strong culture.

• Recruit, mentor, and nurture designers, creating a genuine pipeline of future leaders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product or UX design.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proven experience working across functions to advance business objectives.

• A portfolio showcasing shipped products that demonstrate both craftsmanship and strategic insight.

• Daily proficiency with contemporary design tools and AI in your workflow.

• Familiarity with change management and service design principles.

• Active participation in the design community through writing, speaking engagements, or panel discussions.

• A dedication to inclusive design and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
