This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete product design journey across Flow, HDS, ADS, and DSPM.
• Establish the vision for the future experience of collaboration between humans and AI agents, focusing on agent-assisted investigations, human-in-the-loop decision-making, explainability, trust, and override patterns.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team of product designers.
• Elevate the standards for design quality, critique, and decision-making processes.
• Oversee the UX research function, grounding choices in customer interviews, usability tests, support signals, RFE insights, and product analytics.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering from the initial phases of significant projects.
• Define and shape problem statements and project scopes instead of merely styling predetermined solutions.
• Create and enhance the design system and reusable design patterns.
• Set and report design metrics, including usability benchmarks, task success rates, time to resolution, user adoption, support deflection, and related metrics.
• Spearhead experience initiatives during the platform transition to Flow.
• Advocate for customer experience during roadmap reviews, business evaluations, executive meetings, and planning sessions.
• Collaborate directly with the CPO, product management, engineering, and customer experience teams.
• Over 10 years of experience in product design.
• At least 4 years of experience leading and developing design teams.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped work that demonstrates comprehensive product design capabilities.
• Proven experience in establishing and executing an experience vision for complex products.
• Familiarity with intricate, expert-user enterprise software, such as security, IT operations, observability, or data infrastructure.
• Experience in designing AI-driven or agentic product experiences.
• Strong capabilities in systems thinking, platform-level information architecture, and design systems.
• Proficient in conducting and utilizing UX research.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills at the executive level.
• Experience in people leadership, providing direct feedback, and team development.
• Ability to act with urgency and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be located in the US; preference for the SF Bay Area.
• Experience in cybersecurity, security operations, insider risk, or data protection is a plus.
• Experience in leading major platform migrations or product consolidations is a plus.
• Experience in establishing a design function is a plus.
