This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead the development of pricing and cost models, along with volume documentation.
β’ Engage in reviews and pricing discussions with Executive Management.
β’ Evaluate inputs from Business Development and Technical Solutions to create competitive proposal submissions.
β’ Collaborate with Business Development and Solutions teams to grasp customer requirements and formulate pricing strategies.
β’ Collect data for competitive analysis and devise price-to-win (PTW) strategies.
β’ Generate precise and compliant pricing models.
β’ Analyze and compile cost data while keeping detailed estimating files for inquiries and audit compliance.
β’ Obtain material and procurement quotes in cooperation with Contracts and Procurement.
β’ Oversee subcontractors involved in the proposal preparation process.
β’ Support Project Controllers in understanding pricing documents and estimating completion costs.
β’ Contribute to pricing strategy development, risk identification, and interpretation of solicitation requirements for proposals and modifications.
β’ Create competitive pricing models and narratives for new proposals and contract modifications.
β’ Collaborate with Finance on estimating Forward Pricing Rates and conducting historical analyses for Project Control.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
β’ Over 10 years of pricing/finance experience in government contracting, or a comparable combination of education and training.
β’ Background in accounting and/or financial disciplines.
β’ Knowledge of Government Cost Accounting Principles (CAS) and the FAR.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for developing complex models.
β’ Understanding of various contract types, including FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, and T&M.
β’ Familiarity with financial measurement principles such as earned value, scheduling, IRR, and ROI.
β’ Capable of working both in a team setting and independently.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ Effective time management skills to adhere to internal and external deadlines.
β’ Readiness to work overtime as necessary during peak periods.
