This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement strategy for Pelvic Health physicians, KOLs, faculty, fellowship programs, and professional societies.
• Identify, nurture, and oversee relationships with established and emerging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physician leaders.
• Direct faculty strategy, which includes the identification, development, engagement, and deployment of physician faculty.
• Forge strategic relationships with key professional societies and create partnership plans.
• Cultivate relationships with fellowship program directors and academic institutions to ensure a sustainable pipeline of future clinical leaders.
• Identify and create innovative partnerships and programs that support Pelvic Health priorities and enhance patient access to therapy.
• Lead intricate partnership discussions and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Health Economics/Reimbursement, Legal, Compliance, and other departments.
• Provide Pelvic Health leadership with insights into the physician, society, academic, and competitive landscapes.
• Establish priorities and success metrics for physician engagement and strategic partnerships.
• Assess impact and continuously enhance investments and programs.
• Ensure compliance of physician and society engagements with Medtronic policies, regulations, and Compliance requirements.
• Lead a team focused on resident and fellow engagement, society partnerships, and KOL/faculty management.
• Support Medtronic’s patient-first mission through collaborative efforts across functions.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in people or program management, or an advanced degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience and 7+ years in people or program management.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Must hold unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the employment period.
• Willingness to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
• Extensive experience in building and managing relationships with physicians, KOLs, professional societies, academic institutions, and other senior external stakeholders.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic programs and partnerships that yield measurable organizational, market, or patient impact.
• Significant experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing within highly matrixed organizations.
• Experience in leading external negotiations and managing sophisticated partnerships with physicians, societies, or healthcare entities.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams, establish strategic direction, develop talent, and ensure accountability for execution and outcomes.
• Experience in Pelvic Health, Urology, Urogynecology, Colorectal, Women’s Health, Neuromodulation, or other procedure-based medical device specialties.
• Background in developing KOL, faculty, and physician engagement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with national professional societies, academic institutions, fellowship programs, and emerging physician leaders.
• Experience in supporting new therapy introductions, market development, or significant shifts in clinical practices.
