This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.
• Formulate and implement the comprehensive engagement strategy for Pelvic Health physicians, KOLs, faculty, fellowship, and professional societies.
• Recognize, nurture, and oversee relationships with both established and emerging KOLs and physician leaders.
• Direct the faculty strategy, which includes the identification, development, engagement, and deployment of physician faculty.
• Establish strategic connections with key professional societies and create partnership plans.
• Cultivate relationships with fellowship program directors and academic institutions to ensure a sustainable pipeline of future clinical leaders.
• Identify and create innovative partnerships and programs that align with Pelvic Health strategic priorities and enhance patient access.
• Manage intricate partnership discussions and negotiations.
• Collaborate with Medical Education, Marketing, Commercial, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Health Economics/Reimbursement, Legal, Compliance, and other departments.
• Provide leadership with valuable insights into the physician, society, academic, and competitive landscape.
• Set priorities and success metrics, assess impact, and adjust investments and programs accordingly.
• Ensure that engagements adhere to Medtronic policies, relevant regulations, and Legal and Compliance standards.
• Lead a team dedicated to resident and fellow engagement, society partnerships, and KOL/faculty management.
• Travel is required up to 50–60% of the time.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least 10 years of pertinent experience with a minimum of 7 years in people or program management, or an advanced degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience including 7+ years of managerial experience.
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining relationships with physicians, KOLs, professional societies, academic institutions, and other senior external stakeholders.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic programs and partnerships that yield measurable impacts on the organization, market, or patients.
• Considerable experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing within highly matrixed organizations.
• Experience in leading external negotiations and managing sophisticated partnerships with physicians, societies, or healthcare organizations.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead teams, establish strategic direction, cultivate talent, and ensure accountability for execution and results.
• Experience in Pelvic Health, Urology, Urogynecology, Colorectal, Women’s Health, Neuromodulation, or another procedure-based medical device specialty.
• Proven experience in developing KOL, faculty, and physician engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with national professional societies, academic institutions, fellowship programs, and emerging physician leaders.
• Experience in supporting new therapy introductions, market development, or major shifts in clinical practice.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance requirements related to physician and professional society engagement.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
