This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee operations excellence and support initiatives for the designated region.
• Collaborate across various functions on training assistance, processing for new sites, acquisition of existing sites, operational excellence evaluations, sales and financial analysis, reporting, and equipment distribution.
• Manage franchise business consultants while encouraging their growth and the development of the franchisees they assist.
• Maintain strong relationships with franchisees and provide consultation on their needs to enhance sales, store count, PSA, and effective resource allocation.
• Recruit, train, and oversee field franchise business consultants.
• Communicate policies and operational procedures to both direct reports and franchisees.
• Keep the supervisor updated on relevant business matters and opportunities.
• Ensure that company quality standards are consistently achieved or surpassed, and address any out-of-specification issues.
• Offer leadership, direction, team development, tools, and resources to franchise business consultants.
• Travel within the region to support restaurant operations, perform business reviews and assessments, and assist high-priority franchise operations.
• Ensure prompt operations reporting, including weekly schedules, objectives, period planners, and end-of-period reports.
• Assist with franchisee approval processes and lead new store openings and acquisitions.
• Analyze data and trends while communicating concerns related to operational excellence and compliance.
• Collaborate with research and development to introduce new products, procedures, and communications.
• Contribute to the department budget, monitor it, and suggest explanations for variances.
• Advise franchisees on operational excellence, workplace culture, and training matters.
• Assess franchisee operations and allocate necessary resources.
• Create materials, develop presentations, and facilitate training sessions.
• Utilize public speaking and storytelling to influence direct reports, franchisees, and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent leadership experience managing first-line leaders in the restaurant or retail sectors.
• At least five years of experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally or informally.
• Proven leadership abilities through structured processes, informal team mentoring, and comprehensive project management experience.
• Strong relationship-building, team collaboration, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Demonstrated capabilities in planning, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds and reach items from a height of six (6) feet to a low of six (6) inches off the ground.
• Proficient in understanding directions, instructions, and product specifications.
• Willingness to travel by airplane and/or automobile.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office programs.
• Willingness to learn additional technology platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with Little Caesars operations, including certification as a Little Caesars training manager or regional manager with a proven profitability record.
• Preferred: Experience in multi-unit restaurant management or franchise management.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
• Preferred: Experience with fiscal responsibility.
