This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of delivery execution for designated product and process initiatives that influence Operations, managing from intake through to launch and transition to standard business operations.
• Convert product roadmaps and strategic initiatives into comprehensive project plans featuring milestones, deliverables, and criteria for success.
• Identify operational needs, dependencies, and constraints, integrating them into delivery plans.
• Manage dependencies across teams and organize workflows to mitigate delivery risks and alleviate bottlenecks.
• Recognize, monitor, and escalate delivery risks and issues pertaining to scope, timing, capacity, or operational readiness.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to establish mitigation strategies and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain transparency regarding risks, impacts, and decisions for leadership stakeholders.
• Develop and uphold project management governance, templates, and reporting schedules to ensure consistent portfolio delivery.
• Create and spearhead operational excellence initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
• Analyze current-state processes, pinpoint root causes of inefficiencies, waste, and quality discrepancies, and design future-state processes.
• Establish and track KPIs and metrics to monitor process performance and quantify the effects of improvements.
• Build and enhance a Continuous Improvement program, encompassing training and coaching for staff members.
• Propel the standardization of best practices and process documentation across various business units.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses and develop business cases to validate investments in improvements.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible project management experience in complex, cross-functional settings and with technology projects.
• Proven experience in leading business process improvement or operational excellence initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in guiding initiatives during organizational change or transformation.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Established track record of delivering projects on time and within scope, achieving measurable operational enhancements.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in balancing structure with adaptability while steering teams through changing priorities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
• Proficient in process mapping tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in digital transformation or system implementations is preferred.
• Project management certification such as PMP or PMI-ACP is advantageous.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Experience in building or leading a PMO or Continuous Improvement office is a plus.
