This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct and manage Makse Group’s Workday HCM practice encompassing implementations, optimizations, and AMS engagements.
• Ensure accountability for the quality of delivery, client satisfaction, project performance, and compliance with Makse Group and Workday standards.
• Supervise the HCM project portfolio while addressing delivery risks, scope issues, financial challenges, and client escalations.
• Act as the executive sponsor for strategic and high-risk projects.
• Set delivery standards, governance, and quality control measures across the practice.
• Manage resource planning, capacity, utilization, and staffing for HCM engagements.
• Allocate resources based on project requirements, consultant expertise, certifications, and availability.
• Collaborate with Recruiting to forecast hiring needs based on project demand and the sales pipeline.
• Mentor, coach, and develop HCM managers, architects, leads, and consultants.
• Provide leadership throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle and the transition to post-production support.
• Oversee AMS delivery, ensuring quality of service, staffing, client priorities, backlog management, and fulfillment of service-level agreements.
• Assist teams in addressing complex delivery challenges, production issues, and client escalations.
• Promote continuous improvement, optimization, and enhanced Workday adoption for clients.
• Hold accountability for the financial performance of the practice and engagements, including revenue, margins, budgets, forecasts, and utilization.
• Confirm that staffing, scope, change requests, and delivery decisions align with engagement profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with client executives and senior stakeholders.
• Aid in solution development, estimates, proposals, staffing plans, and statements of work.
• Discover opportunities to enhance existing client relationships and expand Workday services.
• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on Workday HCM consulting experience; experience with other ERP or HCM platforms does not fulfill this requirement.
• Significant experience in leading full-cycle Workday HCM implementations, optimization initiatives, and AMS engagements.
• At least 6 years of experience managing Workday consulting teams, including managers, architects, functional leads, and consultants.
• Current or prior Workday HCM certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with a Workday Services Partner is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
