This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the recruiting function from the ground up, encompassing the team, employer branding, talent pipelines, and processes.
• Develop a synchronized recruiting engine throughout the Network.
• Create uniform strategies for sourcing, candidate experience, recruitment technology, and employer branding.
• Articulate the Network’s commitment to clinical excellence, physician ownership, local hospital cultures, development opportunities, and organizational resources.
• Foster relationships with veterinary schools, technician programs, internships, residencies, specialty communities, professional associations, and conferences.
• Organize career days, hospital visits, tours, and other initiatives to engage talent.
• Generate compensation benchmarks, insights into the talent market, and recruitment data for hospital leaders.
• Build sustainable talent communities and pipelines in anticipation of open requisitions.
• Collaborate with hospital leaders, doctors, and local HR teams to enhance shared recruiting capabilities while maintaining local decision-making autonomy.
• Leverage technology, AI, communication strategies, and regular interactions to nurture enduring candidate relationships.
• Proven experience in establishing or significantly enhancing a recruiting function, sourcing model, or talent pipeline across multiple locations, preferably from a fragmented, outsourced, or reactive foundation.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit scarce, credentialed, or specialized talent in competitive markets.
• Skilled in developing relationships and pipelines for specialized professional talent.
• Comprehensive understanding of employer branding as an integral part of recruiting, with the ability to convey an employee proposition into an engaging candidate-facing narrative.
• Proficiency in utilizing recruiting technology, AI, CRM, and communication tools to segment talent communities and maintain strategic touchpoints.
• Experience in forming partnerships with educational institutions, residency and training programs, conferences, and professional communities.
• Capability to utilize market and compensation insights to inform competitive strategies across various markets and specialties.
• Competence in balancing urgency with candidate experience, culture, and practice fit.
• Regular travel is anticipated.
• Veterinary experience is particularly relevant, especially in specialty or emergency care; experience with physicians, dentists, allied health professionals, or other specialized talent is also pertinent.
