This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate revenue by identifying and securing new business prospects with transformer OEMs, utilities, EPCs, and large-scale electrification initiatives across North America and international regions.
• Create and execute sales strategies for Transformers and other EBOS tailored for solar and various other sectors.
• Participate in high-stakes sales processes involving engineering, logistics, and procurement decision-makers.
• Establish annual sales objectives, project revenue and pipeline metrics, and achieve results that align with Unimacts’ strategic goals.
• Spearhead cross-border sales efforts, harmonizing regional strategies among the U.S., Mexico, and global manufacturing centers.
• Recognize opportunities for product line growth or entry into adjacent markets based on customer demands and trends in grid modernization.
• Build relationships with VP-level sourcing, engineering, and supply chain executives at leading transformer OEMs and major purchasers.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by comprehending technical specifications, production schedules, and supply chain challenges.
• Represent Unimacts at trade shows, utility forums, transformer summits, and various industry events.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and procurement teams to manage complex, high-volume projects.
• Assist in proposal preparation, bid strategies, and contract negotiations while maintaining commercial integrity.
• Track market trends and provide customer insights to shape product development and capacity management.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and other standards related to transformer component quality and safety.
• Incorporate sales initiatives into business systems and CRM platforms such as MS Dynamics.
• Maintain Unimacts’ brand reputation through professional, transparent, and responsive client service.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of sales experience within the transformer, heavy electrical equipment, or industrial components industry.
• Solid experience in selling to transformer OEMs, EPCs, or utilities.
• Knowledge of transformer component specifications, materials (e.g., steel, copper, insulation systems), and relevant industry standards.
• Proven track record in complex solution selling, technical proposal creation, and managing lengthy sales processes.
• Extensive understanding of U.S. grid modernization initiatives, renewable energy integration, and substation developments.
• Experience with sourcing and supply chain strategies in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing settings.
• Demonstrated capability to establish new accounts and enhance existing relationships.
• Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills with a strong grasp of commercial and technical value propositions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications such as MS Dynamics.
