This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Formulate and implement the sales strategy for the portfolio in accordance with company objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a sales team consisting of 6–10 direct reports to meet sales goals and enhance performance.
• Take responsibility for revenue and operating income across all business segments.
• Build and sustain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Conduct market analysis to uncover new business opportunities and identify emerging market trends.
• Direct the go-to-market strategy and refine partner and channel strategies for improved performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to stimulate profitable growth.
• Generate sales forecasts and reports to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Deliver data-driven insights on the sales pipeline with diligent oversight and accountability using CRM and other tools.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to guarantee prompt production and delivery.
• Manage budgets to ensure profitability across sales initiatives.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Report directly to the General Manager as a member of the IMC United States and Canada Leadership Team.
• Over 7 years of experience in sales leadership roles, ideally in B2B/channel sales.
• Experience in the Industrial Automation (IA) sector.
• Proven track record in people leadership and management.
• In-depth understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
• Capability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
• Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing revenue targets.
• Experience in team management and development.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Candidate must qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, protected status holder, or an individual eligible for export authorization.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• An MBA is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with corporate objectives.
• Familiarity with similar products and knowledge in the field is highly valued.
