This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, inspire, and direct a team of sales professionals to achieve or surpass sales objectives within the designated region or sector.
• Establish performance benchmarks, provide mentorship, and promote professional growth.
• Set individual sales targets, KPIs, and performance standards.
• Educate and train the Paylocity sales methodology to enhance Account Executive effectiveness.
• Monitor sales activities and performance, assisting the team in overcoming obstacles and securing deals.
• Hold team meetings to evaluate sales metrics, share updates, and encourage collaboration.
• Conduct performance evaluations and create career advancement plans.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for new customer acquisition, account growth, and upselling.
• Ensure efficient management of the sales pipeline and conversion of leads into clients.
• Collaborate with marketing on sales initiatives, lead generation, and conversion strategies.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and partners.
• Serve as an escalation contact for key accounts and intricate sales scenarios.
• Promote a customer-focused sales culture.
• Track sales performance and generate reports on results, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Utilize CRM systems like Salesforce and HubSpot to oversee leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to enhance processes and sales strategies.
• Provide senior management with updates regarding sales performance and market conditions.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
• Assist in the development of sales collateral, product presentations, and proposals.
• Share insights on customer, competitive positioning, and market trends with product and marketing teams.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Engage in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and generate business.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or business operations.
• At least 2 years of experience managing HCM Account Executives.
• Experience with major account payroll, HR, time and attendance solutions, and large, complex organizations.
• Proficient in CRM software.
• Experience in managing and motivating a sales team, emphasizing individual and team performance enhancement.
• Strong leadership abilities complemented by effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Willingness to travel and work in a virtual setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic market environment.
• Mobility required for sitting, standing, and walking.
• Mobility required for driving to potential client locations.
• Manual dexterity required in both hands to operate a computer keyboard and handle small objects.
