This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Oversee electrical distribution accounts, focusing on both performance and profitability.
• Anticipate customer requirements and proactively respond to them.
• Discover growth potentials through strategic product placement and promotional initiatives.
• Manage pricing adjustments for various product categories and established price-change parameters.
• Collaborate with the Data Analyst to assess sales, trends, and opportunities.
• Generate monthly customer reports, including fill-rate metrics and shipment tracking against rebate objectives.
• Process and issue quotes aligned with the company's desired outcomes.
• Supervise Manufacturer’s Representatives within the designated territory, focusing on budgeting, sales performance, pricing strategies, customer events, and contractor engagement.
• Organize and participate in trade shows, conferences, customer events, and other industry-related activities.
• Lead customer tours of the Cerrowire plant.
• Coordinate with Technical Sales and Innovation teams regarding contractor-facing strategies.
• Build and sustain customer relationships.
• Execute other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently without direct supervision.
• Advanced proficiency in software including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows, Word, and Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Proven analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with employees at all levels.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Electrical Distribution sector.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness and integrity, adherence to high ethical standards, and ability to manage conflict effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, including decision-making, analytical, team-building, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 60% within and occasionally outside the designated territory.
• Preferably resides in CST or EST for routine travel within the East Territory.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
• Preferred: Experience with an electrical manufacturer, distributor, or electrical product manufacturer's representative.
• Preferred: Established relationships with distributors and contractors in the territory.
