This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Implement Business and Corporate Quality strategies within designated divisions.

• Enhance and deploy RealTruck Quality Management Systems (QMS).

• Elevate customer satisfaction while minimizing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

• Streamline and optimize processes to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Foster a culture of high performance through collaborative efforts across functions and accountability.

• Spearhead the deployment of RealTruck QMS and process enhancements.

• Cultivate a culture of Quality Excellence that aligns with the RealTruck Quality Strategy.

• Assist in the development of Quality Strategy, processes, and structure.

• Design and implement quality methodologies across the organization.

• Anticipate key customer requirements and ensure that quality systems meet or surpass customer standards.

• Track quality trends, identify issues with customers, and coordinate resolution strategies with cross-functional management teams.

• Support corrective actions, investigations, and problem-solving at the site level.

• Recognize recurring issues and establish structured quality systems and processes.

• Deploy and monitor Quality metrics at the division level, aiding in target achievement.

• Enhance Warranty, COPQ, Scrap, and other quality-related metrics.

• Assist in implementing a corporate quality manual for every facility.

• Provide support for corrective and preventive actions at the various facilities.

• Plan, organize, assess, and lead department employees; delegate authority to subordinate supervisors or managers.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Systems Engineering within a manufacturing setting is required.

• 5+ years of proven team leadership experience is required.

• Demonstrated history of driving quality improvements over time.

• Experience in the automotive industry is desired, including an understanding of quality requirements, protocols, and customer expectations.

• Lean/Six Sigma green belt certification or equivalent work experience or company certification is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance methods and improvement tools.

• Capability to lead Advanced Product Quality Planning and structured quality planning initiatives.

• Familiarity with Dimensional Metrology and measurement/inspection processes.

• Understanding of Quality System Management and relevant standards.

• Proficiency in data analytics, including statistics, data integrity, data visualization, and problem-solving techniques.

• Knowledge of MiniTab is preferred.

• Advanced Excel skills are required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Willingness to travel approximately 30%, with the possibility of increased travel during specific periods.

• Ability to manage competing demands and adapt to frequent changes.

• Competence in synthesizing complex information, gathering and researching data, and designing workflows and procedures.

• Proficiency in identifying and resolving problems while developing alternative solutions.

• High level of accuracy and thoroughness in quality work.

• Strong speaking, listening, clarification, and group presentation skills.

• Ability to perform sedentary work; capable of talking and hearing; close visual acuity for data analysis, computer work, reading, visual inspection, measurement devices, and parts assembly/fabrication.

• Capability to work in a professional office setting utilizing standard office equipment.
