Director of Provider Operations – VA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to an Associate Vice President of Strategy Advancement.

• Oversee a substantial operations team.

• Develop, implement, and supervise manual operations that support VA CCN Credentialing and Provider Data Loading.

• Establish operational strategies and priorities that align with business objectives and requirements.

• Maintain an operational infrastructure that is efficient, dependable, and cost-effective.

• Collaborate with Provider teams and Humana Military.

• Enhance manual processes and improve data quality.

• Direct automation initiatives.

• Manage performance metrics through KPIs, staffing, and capacity planning.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Must successfully obtain interim approval for government security clearance (NBIS - National Background Investigation Services).

• Candidates residing in Puerto Rico are not eligible for hire.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience managing teams of 15 or more associates.

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations.

• 5 years of experience in building a large-scale operations team for new implementations.

• A minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload is required.

• A dedicated workspace is essential to ensure protection of member PHI/HIPAA information without interruptions.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Experience with VA/TRICARE is preferred.

• Experience in provider data management is preferred.
