This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership and implement the quarterly and long-term product marketing strategy for Help Scout's product and platform.
β’ Develop and enhance the product marketing function by managing and collaborating with the Lead Product Marketing Manager.
β’ Establish team priorities, mentor in product marketing skills, and create a 12β18-month headcount and capability roadmap for the team.
β’ Empower Sales, Support, and other company teammates to effectively communicate product value and drive revenue and expansion.
β’ Transform competitive research into strategic market perspectives that influence product-led growth, direct and indirect sales, and expansion efforts.
β’ Oversee significant product launches and seasonal release events from start to finish.
β’ Develop launch strategies and narrative arcs while coordinating efforts across Sales, Product, Support, and Marketing teams.
β’ Share Help Scout's product narrative externally through guest posts, podcasts, social media, and various other channels.
β’ Extensive product marketing experience within a B2B SaaS product or AI platform environment.
β’ Proven ability to own the product marketing strategy rather than merely executing campaigns.
β’ Proficient in positioning, messaging, buyer personas/ICP, sales enablement, and product launches.
β’ Capability to identify the most valuable product marketing initiatives for the business.
β’ Prior experience in people management, including coaching and nurturing direct reports.
β’ A credible perspective on positioning AI-powered products.
β’ Ideally, direct experience in marketing AI features or products.
β’ Regular use of AI tools to enhance personal and team productivity, with specific examples demonstrating impact.
β’ Strong skills in storytelling and narrative writing.
β’ Ability to simplify complex products, making them human and memorable.
β’ Proficiency in communication and relationship-building in a remote, asynchronous environment.
β’ Must reside in the United States.
β’ Must already possess authorization to work in their home country; Help Scout does not offer visa sponsorship.
