This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive product vision and roadmap for IMS’s proprietary tool suite, which includes jury consulting, litigation surveys, expert witness search, trial graphics, and medical-legal consulting.
• Spearhead the modernization of the platform and the unification of legacy and acquired tools into a cohesive, scalable user experience.
• Define and monitor product KPIs, linking them to EBITDA impact and growth-velocity metrics.
• Establish and guide the product operating cadence, incorporating roadmap reviews, quarterly planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and cross-functional prioritization.
• Manage the product lifecycle utilizing contemporary Agile practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with data and engineering leaders to convert proprietary case outcome data into AI-driven capabilities.
• Ensure data is structured, governed, and production-ready to support scalable AI/ML products and reliable product analytics.
• Specify product requirements and criteria for success regarding data quality, model inputs, and AI/ML features.
• Oversee the execution of proprietary AI/ML-driven matching technology.
• Develop a product management operating model for a hybrid employee and affiliate delivery organization.
• Assess product strategy, product-market fit, technological capabilities, integration complexity, and roadmap implications during the acquisition due diligence process.
• Lead product integration planning for acquired technologies and create recommendations for build vs. buy vs. integrate.
• Define product requirements that support international expansion initiatives.
• Act as the voice of the customer by representing internal and external legal-services users.
• Identify manual workflows suitable for automation, translate these into product requirements, and measure their business impact.
• Recognize product opportunities to enhance pricing efficiency and maximize gross margin.
• Produce roadmap updates, business cases, executive communications, board decks, QBR materials, and investment thesis reviews.
• Collaborate with the CTO on the technology roadmap and synchronize product priorities with platform modernization and AI/data infrastructure investments.
• Proven experience leading product for B2B SaaS platforms or talent marketplaces in sectors such as professional services, legal technology, financial services, expert networks, recruiting, or other regulated/enterprise verticals.
• Demonstrated success in integrating products following mergers and acquisitions or consolidating disparate platforms.
• Experience in establishing product management processes and operating rhythms within a growing organization.
• Proficiency in roadmap planning, Agile delivery, release management, and cross-functional governance.
• Background as an early or foundational product leader.
• Familiarity with modern cross-functional Agile tools and practices.
• Experience serving law firms or corporate legal departments as B2B software end users.
• Understanding of trial preparation and litigation workflows.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, privilege, client-conflict, and data-security considerations in legal industry data.
• Proven track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing product teams.
• Strong leadership abilities, including coaching, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Direct experience in litigation support, jury consulting, legal technology, or a related legal-services domain is strongly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, including more than 5 years in a senior product leadership role.
• Working fluency in AI/ML product development, encompassing RAG, NLP, and predictive/classification modeling.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with API and integration architecture.
• Familiarity with vendor/partner AI model evaluation, including LLM selection and cost/latency/accuracy trade-offs.
• Experience with usage analytics and product telemetry instrumentation.
• Knowledge of litigation-specific data privacy and security frameworks, including protective orders, eDiscovery handling, and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Ability to operate a computer and standard office equipment.
• Skill in communicating effectively through phone, video conferencing, email, chat, and other virtual tools.
• Capability to maintain a reliable, confidential remote work environment while ensuring the protection of company and client information.
