Director of Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the product strategy and vision with well-defined objectives and a long-term outlook.

• Take ownership of and communicate the product vision effectively.

• Guide the development of product roadmaps, balancing the flexibility of Agile methodologies with long-term planning.

• Set product priorities and manage workflow, meetings, and feedback processes related to the product.

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones for teams and products.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate product leaders.

• Address dependencies and resolve project blockers across teams and functional areas.

• Invest in the professional development of the team through training opportunities and constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to meet product delivery and quality objectives.

• Ensure product quality and reliability prior to customer release.

• Oversee testing strategies and collect user feedback for product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software/technology Product Management.

• Equivalent experience in strategic marketing, business management, or other related technology roles is also acceptable.

• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing Product teams.

• Demonstrated success in software/technology product management and delivering features in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that connect business and engineering teams.

• Strong technical background or comprehension of software development processes.

• Ability to leverage data to derive product insights, assess risks, and convey findings meaningfully.
