This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Define and convey the vision and strategy for the product.
• Convert product direction into a long-term roadmap.
• Establish practices for product management, including operating rhythms and agile methodologies.
• Enhance prioritization, backlog management, planning, and decision-making processes.
• Facilitate the transition from a traditional desktop application to a contemporary web-based product.
• Balance innovation with technical investment, customer commitments, and business priorities.
• Lead, coach, and nurture a team of three Product Owners.
• Interact directly with customers to grasp their workflows, challenges, and priorities.
• Present the product direction while integrating customer feedback into strategy and planning.
• Collaborate with Development, Sales, Marketing, and industry leadership.
• Provide product insights for positioning, packaging, pricing, strategic accounts, and growth discussions.
• Report to the CEO, aligning product direction with customer needs, market opportunities, and business growth.
• Proven experience in leading a product team.
• Background in establishing product management structures, practices, and accountability.
• Experience in coaching and developing Product Owners or Product Managers.
• Ability to offer practical, hands-on product guidance.
• Capacity to translate customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives into product strategy and an actionable roadmap.
• Experience in prioritizing competing needs and making informed trade-offs.
• Familiarity with agile principles, backlog management, roadmapping, prioritization, and product lifecycle practices.
• Experience engaging directly with customers and leveraging insights for product decisions.
• Ability to present product direction and establish credibility with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Cross-functional leadership experience across Development, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence decisions and constructively challenge assumptions.
• Curiosity about specialized markets and emerging technologies.
• Interest in AI-assisted development and AI-enabled product practices.
• Eagerness to learn, experiment, and assist teams in adopting new working methods.
