This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +1 more country.
• Take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, profitability, and lifecycle management for the worldwide 2D Camera and Frame Grabber product portfolio.
• Formulate a cohesive portfolio strategy that encompasses Richmond, Waterloo, Montreal, and future Adimec product lines.
• Drive decisions regarding investments, prioritize the portfolio, facilitate platform reuse, and manage product lifecycle.
• Ensure that customer applications, workflows, and market opportunities guide product investment choices.
• Convert market insights into unique product and platform strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Applications Engineering, and key customers to pinpoint growth opportunities and unmet requirements.
• Lead the transition from a component supplier to a provider of integrated vision solutions.
• Work with the Software team to create a cohesive ecosystem that includes common architectures, SDKs, APIs, and user experiences.
• Develop solution strategies that integrate cameras, frame grabbers, software, AI, and application expertise.
• Collaborate with Teledyne e2v to synchronize product and sensor roadmaps and influence future sensor investments.
• Craft benefit-driven positioning, messaging, and value propositions in partnership with Product Marketing.
• Enhance direct customer engagement through visits, market reviews, industry participation, and strategic account interactions.
• Build and lead a high-performing global Product Management organization.
• Establish standardized processes, governance, and best practices across all locations.
• Cultivate future product management leaders while promoting accountability, collaboration, customer orientation, and innovation.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Imaging Science, or a related technical field.
• 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Leadership, or Engineering leadership.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience leading global product teams and managing complex technology portfolios.
• Familiarity with Machine Vision, Industrial Imaging, Automation, Semiconductors, Photonics, Robotics, or similar technology industries.
• Demonstrated success in developing platform-based product strategies that encompass both hardware and software.
• Proven track record in commercializing technology products, platforms, and solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams within a global matrix organization.
• Leadership skills in strategic and market leadership, customer focus, business acumen, technology and platform strategy, systems thinking, product and portfolio management, benefit-led storytelling, cross-functional influence, change leadership, and executive presence.
