This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and clearly articulate the product vision, strategy, and multi-phase roadmap.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and validation to delivery, launch, and iteration.
• Develop a product operating model that is informed by user data, along with a structured prioritization process.
• Act as the primary advocate for the customer by conducting user research and gathering feedback.
• Conduct product discovery sessions and customer interviews.
• Identify problems, define outcomes, establish success metrics, and outline product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Oversee the product backlog and manage prioritization effectively.
• Analyze product usage, feedback, and KPIs to guide roadmap decisions and assess impact.
• Establish and maintain product processes, tools, and documentation.
• Directly supervise Engineering and QA teams.
• Align product priorities with engineering execution, delivery planning, quality standards, release readiness, capacity, and dependencies.
• Hold accountability for product outcomes across the Product, Engineering, and QA teams.
• Serve as a liaison between Product, Engineering, QA, Sales, Customer Success, and Support functions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on product launches, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
• Communicate product direction, trade-offs, and progress to executives and stakeholders effectively.
• Establish the groundwork for a scalable product organization, including roles, processes, and career pathways.
• Mentor engineering leadership and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in defining the timeline and strategy for expanding the product team.
• 3–6+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably within a B2B SaaS context.
• Proven experience in owning product strategy and execution from start to finish.
• Strong history of collaborating closely with Engineering teams in an Agile setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in remote or asynchronous environments.
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Demonstrated ability to lead product discovery efforts and engage regularly with users.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, Notion, or similar product and delivery platforms.
• Competence in utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to guide prioritization and decision-making.
• Passion for developing meaningful, mission-driven products.
• Preferred experience in GovTech, Public Safety, or compliance-heavy and regulated sectors.
• Familiarity with CJIS or similar regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with evidence management, records systems, or justice-related workflows is desirable.
• Prior exposure to platforms like Productboard, Canny, Amplitude, or Mixpanel is preferred.
• Experience mentoring engineering leaders or influencing organizational delivery is a plus.
