Director of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the product management team.

• Convert business priorities and student needs into well-defined product plans.

• Supervise, mentor, and enhance the skills of product managers.

• Take ownership of product strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery across various products.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Content, and Marketing teams.

• Assess feasibility, dependencies, technical trade-offs, and timelines with the technology team.

• Set requirements, success metrics, and accountability for initiatives.

• Utilize customer research, product analytics, and experiments to inform decisions.

• Optimize product development processes and ensure stakeholder alignment.

• Be responsible for outcomes, including adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading product managers, rather than just managing individual products.

• Strong technical knowledge of software development, APIs, integrations, and data.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Proven history of launching and enhancing digital products with measurable success.

• Strong prioritization abilities and capability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and engineering resources.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting and coordinating across multiple time zones.

• Strong leadership qualities, sound judgment, and the ability to resolve conflicts constructively.

• Preferred: experience in educational technology, subscription services, or consumer digital products.

• Preferred: experience with experimentation, onboarding processes, and conversion optimization.

• Preferred: previous engineering experience or a technical educational background.
