This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +24 more states.
• Take ownership of the Commence brand, enhancing its presence across all platforms, including visual identity, messaging, and strategic positioning.
• Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy and budget that align with growth objectives, pipeline goals, and corporate development initiatives.
• Lead, nurture, and expand marketing and branding teams, including managing relationships with agencies and contractors.
• Drive demand generation and account-based marketing efforts targeted at commercial health purchasers.
• Facilitate federal capture through thought leadership, conference strategies, and customer-facing materials.
• Collaborate with business development and capture teams on capability statements, case studies, white papers, proposal documents, and executive briefing materials.
• Position Commence’s proprietary technology platform and AI capabilities within regulated healthcare markets.
• Oversee the digital presence, including the website, SEO/SEM strategies, social media channels, email initiatives, and marketing analytics.
• Manage public relations, analyst relations, executive visibility, award submissions, speaking opportunities, and earned media.
• Assist in M&A activities through brand integration guidelines, rebranding execution, and communication strategies during due diligence and closure.
• Ensure that all marketing activities comply with federal health contractor regulations, including accurate claims, the protection of sensitive information, and proper handling of client references.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in marketing.
• More than 5 years of experience leading marketing teams at the director level or higher.
• Proven success in marketing technology or technology-enabled service businesses within both federal/government and commercial landscapes.
• Extensive knowledge of federal market dynamics, including capture lifecycles, GovCon media and conference environments, team-driven awareness, and proposal support.
• Documented track record in commercial demand generation, with accountability for pipeline metrics.
• Experience in building or significantly scaling a marketing function, including team recruitment, budget management, and agency oversight.
• Outstanding writing and messaging abilities, with a knack for simplifying complex technical and clinical concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or public health marketing.
• Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth settings, along with acquisition/rebranding exposure is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI and data platform positioning, as well as responsible AI messaging, is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce-based marketing operations and modern martech stacks is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely from one of the specified states.
