
Director of Marketing – AI-Driven Drug Discovery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the marketing strategy, plan, budget, team, positioning, and narrative.
• Create comprehensive campaigns that span press, scientific media, newsletters, podcasts, events, partner channels, social media, and sales materials.
• Lead the creative direction and manage platform releases, network milestones, and partner announcements.
• Convert model results, benchmarks, and publications into technically sound claims.
• Direct product marketing for the platform and workflows, including narrative creation, web pages, and pitches.
• Oversee the competitive landscape and provide the commercial team with proof points, references, and benchmark documentation.
• Develop marketing formats for R&D leadership, such as peer endorsements, third-party testimonials, invite-only round tables, and reference stories.
• Manage event strategies, speaking engagements, exclusive round tables, dinners, marketing channels, and media relations.
• Establish demand strategies for the named-account market and guide growth marketing efforts across outbound, paid, and search initiatives.
• Set marketing priorities, plans, and budgets; lead and expand a team of two.
• Engage freelancers, design studios, and specialists as necessary.
• Report to the Senior Director of Commercial & Operations and work closely with product and science leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in drug discovery or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in marketing to pharmaceutical R&D.
• Demonstrated ability to run end-to-end campaigns and take ownership of positioning for a technical product.
• Capability to interpret preprints or benchmark tables and evaluate their implications.
• Strong writing skills; submission of a previous content piece is required.
• Evidence of exceptional performance.
• Experience in a fast-paced, remote-first organization.
• Proficiency with AI tools for professional tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Nice to have: experience in an early-stage or scaling environment.
• Nice to have: a degree or experience in chemistry, structural biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Nice to have: experience in marketing AI or machine learning products within pharmaceutical R&D.
