Director of IT & Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop organization-wide technology strategies and budgets that enhance value in line with the company's strategic goals.

• Lead a team of IT professionals by establishing objectives, defining metric criteria, analyzing data, creating IT budgets, and managing server systems risks while ensuring that systems and processes are established to protect sensitive information in accordance with relevant laws and best practices.

• Design and execute tools, metrics, policies, and procedures.

• Optimize services and operations by evaluating, comprehending, and aligning technology resources and requirements across all departments.

• Organize the initiation, development, and execution of significant technology projects within budget constraints.

• Proven track record of effective budget creation and management. Proficient in alternative modeling techniques utilizing ROI and TCO methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of recent experience managing and supporting individual Technical Program Managers in a cloud-based, contemporary IT environment.

• A minimum of 15 years of practical experience in technical project and program management within a Business Systems or SaaS setting focused on implementing systems, software, and integration solutions.

• Strong understanding of business principles and familiarity with diverse business processes, having collaborated directly with Business System Analysts, Business Engagement Leads, and Business Process Owners.

• Knowledgeable about regulatory compliance standards, including SOC and GDPR.
