πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Take ownership of the IT strategy, roadmap, and budget, collaborating closely with the COO and business leaders to prioritize investment opportunities.

β€’ Lead the security program, which encompasses risk management, access controls, incident response, employee training, and oversight of vendors and systems.

β€’ Manage SOC compliance and audits, ensuring that controls, evidence, and remediation efforts are organized throughout the year.

β€’ Ensure reliable and responsive IT support for employees across the global workforce.

β€’ Enhance onboarding, offboarding, device management, identity and access, and day-to-day support processes and systems.

β€’ Evaluate the technology landscape and improve scalability, integration, documentation, and resilience.

β€’ Build and nurture the IT function, determining internal capacity, the use of partners, and ownership responsibilities.

β€’ Collaborate with teams exploring AI tools and automation to facilitate useful, secure, and appropriate adoption.

β€’ Clearly communicate technical risks and recommendations to leadership, translating them into actionable choices.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles within an IT function, team, or significant area of responsibility.

β€’ Proven experience in supporting a global workforce and managing IT requirements across various countries and time zones.

β€’ Strong background in security, including risk assessment, implementing effective controls, and responding to security incidents.

β€’ Experience overseeing cloud applications, identity and access management, endpoint management, IT support, and technology vendors.

β€’ Demonstrated success in improving IT systems and processes as organizations expand.

β€’ Ability to formulate a strategy, remain engaged with operational activities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

β€’ Experience managing SOC compliance, preparing for audits, or overseeing a comparable security assurance program.

β€’ Experience in building or expanding an IT team and making decisions regarding the use of external partners.

β€’ Previous experience supporting a consulting or other professional services organization.

β€’ Familiarity with evaluating AI tools and creating practical guidance for their secure implementation.
