Director of Growth Marketing – Performance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the existing paid marketing strategy, its execution, and performance, then create a plan to enhance results across SEM, paid social, and SEO/AEO.

• Spearhead the expansion strategy for new high-ROI channels, which includes prioritization, testing, measurement, and scaling decisions across programmatic, OTT, OOH, and streaming audio.

• Develop measurement frameworks in collaboration with analytics and attribution teams.

• Formulate the paid channel strategy for Personal Loans as Earnest transitions to multi-product lending in 2027.

• Identify workflows that can be automated or expedited by AI and promote their adoption within the first 90 days.

• Establish the optimal mix of FTE, contract, agency, and AI resources.

• Serve as a player-coach to Growth Marketing Managers, establishing strategy and actively participating in campaign development, testing, and analysis.

• Navigate compliance requirements for new channels and personalization strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in fintech, lending, or another regulated B2C sector is beneficial.

• Experience in a high-growth startup or growth-stage organization is advantageous.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Experience in piloting and scaling sophisticated measurement methods, including incrementality testing, geo holdouts, MMM, and MTA.

• Capability to formulate a vision, gain stakeholder support, and implement it across functions.

• Ability to establish long-term strategies while evaluating SEM performance.

• Willingness to engage hands-on with campaign development, testing, and analysis.

• Capacity to operate in a regulated environment and secure compliance clearance for channels and personalization strategies.
