This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete strategy and profit & loss for Jade Leaf’s wholesale and foodservice division, which includes annual planning, revenue growth, pricing structure, trade investments, and profitability.
• Create and implement a long-term growth strategy for the channel, focusing on independent cafes, regional and national chains, foodservice operators, and key distribution partners.
• Establish a distributor framework and investment strategies that balance customer value, competitive positioning, and EBITDA objectives.
• Identify, target, negotiate, and secure high-value regional and national foodservice clients.
• Maintain senior-level relationships with major foodservice clients, including joint business planning, business reviews, contract negotiations, product assortment expansion, and long-term growth strategies.
• Develop and manage a national and regional distributor strategy, encompassing partner identification, commercial negotiations, onboarding, and performance management.
• Increase the wholesale customer base through acquisition, retention, purchase frequency, product assortment optimization, and growth in sales to existing customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop and expand the "Proudly Serving Jade Leaf" initiative.
• Work with Innovation and Supply Chain to launch foodservice-specific products, formats, and packaging sizes.
• Oversee channel forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure service level maintenance, inventory availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Represent Jade Leaf at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and foodservice events.
• Provide dotted-line management for the Owned Channel eCommerce Manager and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of progressive sales or business development experience in CPG, foodservice, beverage, coffee/tea, or a related sector.
• Proven track record in building and expanding a substantial foodservice or wholesale business, with a focus on revenue and profitability responsibilities.
• Significant experience in selling to and managing multi-location cafes, restaurants, hospitality, or foodservice clients.
• Experience with regional or national chains is highly desirable.
• Proven background in developing and managing distributor relationships.
• Strong comprehension of distributor economics, pricing, margins, and go-to-market strategies.
• Solid commercial and financial insight.
• Experience in P&L management, pricing strategy, forecasting, trade investments, and customer profitability.
• Exceptional skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders from customers and distributors.
• Highly entrepreneurial, analytical, and results-oriented.
• Capacity to create new capabilities and processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer, distributor, and industry events.
