📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical strategy and execution for provider-domain systems utilized daily by hundreds of thousands of independent businesses.

• Manage end-to-end delivery across 4–5 cross-functional teams.

• Provide leadership through Engineering Managers and Staff+ Engineers within a flat organizational structure.

• Establish engineering standards for architectural decisions, technical proposals, and team workflows.

• Spearhead the AI transformation of the engineering lifecycle and define metrics for success.

• Collaborate with Product to align commercial strategies with engineering initiatives.

• Enhance engineering strategy through experimentation and data analysis.

• Develop a high-performing team and mentor autonomous leaders.

• Report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a product-owner mindset, including knowledge of unit economics, funnels, growth mechanics, and commercial impact.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing engineering rigor through architectural decision records, technical proposals, and standardized practices embraced by teams.

• Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into the engineering lifecycle.

• Capable of assessing the impact of AI tools while maintaining code quality.

• Proven experience leading multiple squads through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers in a high-growth scale-up, high-transaction marketplace, or SaaS environment.

• Proficient in conversational English language skills.

• Previous experience with two-sided marketplaces or booking platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with growth engineering or growth experimentation is a plus.

• B2B SaaS experience at scale is desirable.
