This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify and seek out new business prospects through market analysis, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
β’ Cultivate relationships with data center end users, customers, design teams, and other essential industry stakeholders.
β’ Oversee and progress opportunities throughout the sales and preconstruction phases.
β’ Assist in strategic sales initiatives, manage the pipeline, engage in CRM activities, and prepare proposals and presentations.
β’ Lead and coordinate design-build and design-assist initiatives, including defining scope, making assumptions, and providing clarifications.
β’ Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams to create competitive, low-risk solutions.
β’ Work closely with operations to ensure smooth project transitions and continuity from pursuit to execution.
β’ Formulate strategies to tackle customer challenges and set the company apart in the mission-critical market.
β’ Remain updated on trends in data center construction, market opportunities, and changing customer needs.
β’ Conduct client meetings to understand customer requirements and present customized solutions.
β’ Establish strategic partnerships and connect regional teams with suitable clients and market partners.
β’ Contribute to the long-term revenue growth and expansion in the mission-critical sector.
β’ 10β15+ years of experience in the construction industry, with substantial experience in business development, project development, preconstruction, and/or execution of large-scale projects.
β’ Strong background in mission-critical, data center, concrete construction, or similarly complex construction markets.
β’ A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Proven track record of identifying new opportunities and establishing strategic relationships and partnerships.
β’ Experience in strategic planning, project development, preconstruction, and leading cross-functional teams.
β’ Solid understanding of risk management and project delivery processes.
β’ Demonstrated capacity to create solutions for complex customer and project demands.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, design teams, estimating, preconstruction, operations, and executive leadership.
β’ Willingness to travel as necessary for clients, projects, and business development activities.
