This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Position yourself as a key member of the Payments Leadership team, facilitating improved decision-making across Payments and the broader Data Discipline.
β’ Collaborate on Payments strategy and product decisions alongside Product and Engineering, integrating Data early in the discovery phase to influence priorities and stimulate innovative thinking.
β’ Recognize unexploited opportunities for commercial optimization in areas such as pricing, commercialization, investment, and customer growth.
β’ Define the data strategy for Payments, encompassing the operating model, team priorities, architecture, technical debt, and critical metrics and drivers.
β’ Serve as a bridge between technical, product, and commercial viewpoints to enable clear and impactful decision-making.
β’ Build and expand a high-performing team of data professionals responsible for delivering on product and business objectives.
β’ Proven experience in advancing payments innovation and product strategy within a rapidly growing organization.
β’ Extensive Data expertise coupled with strong product and commercial acumen.
β’ Capability to transition between detailed discussions on metrics or architecture and broader customer strategy, pricing, and business outcomes.
β’ Strong empathetic leadership skills, with a knack for fostering trust, elevating performance standards, and retaining top talent.
β’ Experience in developing and managing a comprehensive data team, including individual contributors and managers across Data Science, Analytics Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, and Analytics.
β’ Background in collaborating with senior stakeholders across various functions including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and risk/control divisions.
