Director of Corporate Programming – Shared Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage programming grids for various broadcast stations and sports channels.

• Optimize every minute of schedules to enhance ratings and increase revenue.

• Review and annotate program contracts to ensure favorable terms and engaging content.

• Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with networks and syndicators.

• Identify, negotiate, and schedule syndicated programming to promote audience growth.

• Develop strategies and negotiate Diginet channel placements with internal teams.

• Leverage knowledge of major league sports organizations and team schedules for sports channels.

• Utilize expertise in station operations and program ratings to inform data-driven decisions.

• Shape the content strategy across Gray Media’s diverse multi-platform programming footprint.

• Several years of experience in station operations with a proven track record in high-level programming strategy.

• In-depth understanding of major league sports organizations and team scheduling.

• Proficient in reviewing and annotating program contracts.

• Capability to manage multiple complex projects at once.

• Strategic mindset in programming and strong negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of program ratings and the ability to translate ratings data into effective schedules.

• Familiarity with programming across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms.

• Ability to upload a resume, cover letter, and references during the application process.
